All Industry Marketing (AIM)
We are delighted to announce that All Industry Marketing (AIM) has funded Artsline to put all the cinemas in the UK onto our access database.
As a former sponsor of Artsline's printed booklet “Reel Guide”, AIM is the trade body representing around 90% of UK cinema exhibitors and includes the large chains along with smaller circuits and independent cinemas.
In the late 90's AIM set up the Industry Disability Working Group, involving major representative bodies, to investigate ways in which to improve access to cinemas and films for disabled people - particularly those with sensory impairments. As a result, many of the UK cinemas are now equipped with subtitle and audio description facilities.
Everyone at Artsline would like to thank AIM for their assistance and the confidence they have placed in our ability to complete this huge and immensely important task.
