| Title | Svein Flygari Johansen Am I Making Up What Really Happened? |
| Type of event | Exhibition |
| Dates | 11 November 2011 - 12 February 2012 |
| Special dates | Thursday – Sunday, 11am-5pm |
| Description | Influential Norwegian artist shows solo for the first time in London, with cultural references ranging from the London stock exchange to the Utoya massacre. Svein Flygari Johansen combines an ambitious new commission with seminal earlier works, bringing high technology to bear upon indigenous issues. As part of his Beaconsfield project, Johansen has invited Frode Halvorsen and Jorid Lekve Eide to make work for Beaconsfield’s FlatScreens. This is the third in the Beaconsfield series Phase, which turns the spotlight on mid-career artists with whom the organisation has a significant relationship. Please note, exhibition is sited across all three galleries and we regret that the Upper gallery does not have wheelchair access. Christmas Closing: Beaconsfield will be closed for Christmas from 18th December 2011 - 12 January 2012. |
